Flexi Level 1 Junior Course - Pinners in Wodonga

TFB introduces the Flexi Course option. Riders can receive a refund for individual sessions if they are unable to attend due to:

• Illness

• School excursion

• Injury sustained outside of TFB classes

Additional benefit:

• Free bike hire if a rider cannot use their own bike due to mechanical issues *

Course Overview

This beginner-level course focuses on developing essential mountain bike skills, including attack body position, cornering, braking, climbing, gear shifting, and other foundational techniques we can cover over the 8-week program.

The course is suitable for riders aged 7 years and up. If your child is younger, please contact TFB to discuss their fitness and readiness.

Basic riding skills on sealed roads are required; no off-road riding experience is necessary.

Course Structure & Schedule

• 8 weeks of coaching delivered over 9 weeks

• Includes 1 buffer week before daylight savings to allow for weather-related postponements

• Start date: 2 February 2026
• Possible finish date: 3 March 2026
• Day: Mondays

• Time: 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm (1.5-hour sessions)

• Location: Wodonga, Hunchback MTB park

Please note: Due to the structured curriculum of the course, no new riders will be accepted after the second session.

Inclusions

• Free TFB water bottle (value $20)

• Bike maintenance and basic repair session, including puncture repairs at Cycle Station (subject to sufficient enrolments to allocate one TFB instructor)

Group Placement & Enrolments

TFB reserves the right to move juniors between groups or levels to ensure suitable riding partners and the best possible learning experience. 

• If fewer than four riders enrol in a course, TFB will offer either an alternate location or a full refund.
